Wimbledon

Home to the Wimbledon lawn tennis championships. As well as this year's tournament Wimbledon will host the London 2012 Olympic tennis. Year round tours are available including admission to the tennis museum.

Other attractions in Wimbledon include Wimbledon Village with its English country atmosphere combined with superb independent shops and quality eateries. If the weather is fine then take advantage by having a picnic in Wimbledon Common.

Wimbledon has an active shopping centre and theatre. It is a transport hub with underground and mainline station connecting it to London, Surrey and South Coast. You can travel by tram to Croydon passing the large IKEA store.

Kingston Upon Thames

Ancient capital of Anglo Saxon England lies on the banks of the river Thames. It is an excellent shopping centre with top brand department stores and fashion shops.

Kingston is renowned for it's markets, restaurants and bars making it a popular place with locals and visitors.

Close to the town are wonderful Richmond and Bushey parks famous for their wild deer and other wildlife. There is a towpath along the river Thames where you can stroll or cycle stopping at picturesque pubs.

This year the London 2012 Olympic road cycle races pass through Kingston and the local parks with the Olympic cycle time trials taking place in Hampton Court Gardens.
